This is a site for a professional photographer who was after a website to showcase his work and provide his customers with a facility to view photos online prior to ordering. After working together with Keith for a few weeks the overall design was finalised and the final site was soon online.
We built this one from the ground up which involved developing a custom content management system, making it easy for Keith to add customer events and the photographs associated with them. In addition to the basic event creation we also built in automatic resizing of images for use in multiple places in the site, and a dynamic watermark system that requires no additional work.
Keith was keen to have a ‘lightbox’ style site in order to highlight the images as the focus of the site. Taking this into consideration we opted for a black site and the use of a simple lightbox script that fades the site when viewing images, which appear in their own window in the centre of the screen.
This was on of the first projects that Moray Web Solutions worked on, and we look forward to working with Keith in the future to further enhance and develop the site.
