Continuing on from last months initial update post, here we are to share some information on what’s happening in May. It’s beginning to look like May could be a busy one as there are a number of projects on the go, both large and small! There is always room for more fun though, so if you need anything from us don’t hesitate to get in touch. So what does May hold for Moray Web Solutions…
Client Sites
May will see the definite conclusion of the Handiyworks website, along with an interesting ‘single-page’ site that we have been working on for a brand new Edinburgh based company. The later was a really nice project to work on and for all the site has only one main page it includes a number of web technologies that work together to present the desired information and image. We are also working closely with two other design agencies on a couple of projects for their clients, and look forward to moving that work on a bit further too.
The MWS Site
Last month was a busy one and that unfortunately meant the new site didn’t get all the new content we would liked to have added. That should be addressed later in May as we plan to finally get the Tutorials section moving. The demo Magento store is really important and is still a high priority, just not as high as client work so it will be worked as and when client workload allows. Updates on all of these will posted in the blog throughout the month.
In-House Developments
Having been selected from the pool of ideas, the next Moray Web Solutions in-house development is now in the very early stages of development. There will be more information published on this during May once a timeline has been finalised for it! Having pulled this idea out the pool, another one has just splashed in at the same time – to many ideas, not enough time!
And Finally…
You may recall that in last months update that a special competition was due to be run in association with the ‘Scottish Business Forums’. Well we are pleased to say that it was launched in late April and is open for entries until 14th May. We are offering the winner a FREE business information website, and all for answering a simple question! You can find out more about the competition here. Another really exciting piece of news is that there has now been a joining of forces between Gordon and an Edinburgh based designer/developer that will lead to some larger web based projects over the coming months – stay tuned for more information on this one!
