Welcome to a new series of blog posts designed to keep you up to date with what’s happening at Moray Web Solutions. There are usually a few new ideas in the brewing pot along with some ongoing projects for clients as well as in-house, so we thought it would be a good idea to document them partly for our own benefit and to keep us on track! So what’s in store for April then…
Client Sites
Work is continuing on the Handiyworks site during April with a view to the site being live before May. There have been a number of idea changes and suggestions from both us Handiyworks over the last couple of weeks, so we are keen to bring them to life and get the site up and working. We should also receive final word on a couple of local e-commerce sites that we have been in the running for, details will follow as soon as we know.
The MWS Site
Now that the new site is up and running we are keen to keep the ball rolling. Over the next few days some new features will appear in and around the blog as well as adding live updates from our Twitter account. In the next few days work will start on an online demo of the e-commerce package Magento, our chosen solution platform. As many people are not familiar with this fantastic application we thought we could showcase it a little by building a custom storefront. This will also show our capabilities with Magento, and how we can put them to good use on your e-commerce project.
In-House Developments
With a big of ideas for online services and applications that we are looking at developing, one has now been selected as a good candidate to take forward to the next stage. Keep your eyes peeled on the blog for more details and regular updates on this one! Excited?
And Finally…
In true news style we also have an ‘and finally’ for you, and a good one at that! Moray Web Solutions have been in discussion with the ‘Scottish Business Forums’ over the last few days about an exciting competition for their members starting any day now. We can’t mention the specifics here quite yet, but if you are in the market for a new website or site re-design, and are a business based in Scotland, it could be in your interest to get yourself over to the forums and get registered to take part… it’s going to be worth it!
