For a while now I have been considering offering some basic graphic design services, until now the main focus has always been design for web. Having been approached with a request for assistance in finding a logo designer I offered to provide the service myself and the results can now be seen.
‘Complete Server Management’ is a new business that knew roughly what they wanted by means of a logo, but didn’t have the in-house skills or available time to craft their own. In step Moray Web Solutions ever keen expand in to new areas of design, and keep clients content and satisfied!
The brief was fairly specific if not of great length with the non-type element to represent a pulse or heartbeat monitor. After various different styles of ‘trace’ we finally came up with what you see below, which I am pleased to say the client is delighted with!

As you would expect the final design was delivered in various file formats and sizes, including a favicon for use on their website which is due online anytime now. This is a service that I would like to see made permanent, so if you are in need of any logo (or icon) design service please get in touch.
I am delighted that ‘Complete Server Management’ are as happy with the results as I am, and wish them all the best with launching the new venture!
I am very keen to get some feedback on the above design so feel free to add your comments below.
The kerning between the ‘v’ and ‘e’ in ‘server’ could be a bit tighter, but I like the pulse motif – reminds me of a Mac icon!
Of course, the main thing is that the client is happy with it!
Thanks for your comment, point taken with the kerning!
