Introducing Our E-Commerce Platform Of Choice – Magento

(Our Articles) June 8th, 2009

Moray Web Solutions ArticlesIf you are looking into moving your business into the online shopping arena, or have an idea for an e-commerce based venture we would like to introduce our e-commerce solution of choice – Magento. Recently celebrating it’s first birthday as a production application Magento stands head and shoulders above all the competition!

I could ramble on and on about how wonderful it is (happily!) however I don’t think I would do it the justice it deserves. Instead I have grabbed a couple of videos produced by Varien the company behind Magento, to introduce some of the great features and benefits it brings.

It won’t take you long to see why any E-Commece projects we are involved in will be built exclusively on Magento!

So if you are looking for the ultimate E-Commerce solution, why not give us a shout and we’ll be happy to discuss a custom designed and built Magento website that meets (and exceeds!) your needs!

If you are a web designer why dont you develop your own CMS and why is your homepage made in Word press? Surely you should be showcasing your own skills on your homepage?

Sorry it took so long to reply Jim, things have been quite busy around here! I am a little taken aback by your comment but realise it could be a genuine question. In response I have written a new article that may be of interest to you. Have a look at The Benefits of Open Source Based Solutions and see if it answers your question.

@JIM developing custom apps takes time…if you think about it wordpress has been a community effort …over 7 years in the making (if i’m not mistaking) . so why reinvent the wheel?
